Hot Chocolate Recipe

Here is my very simple healthier hot chocolate recipe, just perfect for this time of year. Cacao powder is rich in antioxidants and is also high in magnesium and iron.

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1tsp maca powder
  • 1 small squeeze honey or maple syrup
  • 150ml milk of choice

 

Method: 

  1. Simply pour boiling water over the cacao and maca powders and stir.
  2. Add in the squeeze of honey or maple syrup and top up with milk.
  3. Enjoy!
